Dado que el tema de investigación en mi beca de Maestría (UBACyT 2008-2010) aborda la función paterna -especialmente a partir del distingo y anudamiento entre el padre imaginario, el padre simbólico y el padre real- con el objetivo de plantear soluciones a algunos de los problemas que presenta la apropiación de niños en la última dictadura militar (1976-1983), referidos específicamente a la pregunta: ¿qué es un padre?, ¿quién es el padre?, tomaré en esta oportunidad el tema del objeto a para articularlo con la/las función/es del padre. Ello con el fin de interrogar, hacia el final del trabajo, en relación con la creencia en el padre -uno de los impasses del analista en la dirección de la cura- la posición misma del psicoanalista, en la transferencia, entre el padre y el objeto a.
