Resumen
This short essay is the companion to the essay published in Anthropology News in March, 2014 where I presented the overall characteristics regarding emancipatory educational practices for Latin America. In this piece I describe the different ways in which these educational experiences took form more recently in different organizational contexts (e.g., social movements, cooperative of workers, schools and the public sector), and I also discuss the contributions of anthropology to understanding these experiences.
