La EAIS es una adaptación que realizaron Oiberman; Mansilla y Orellana (2002) de la escala de inteligencia sensorio-motriz de 6 a 24 meses de Casati y Lezine (1968). Consta de 45 pruebas (cuatro series). Los ítem derivan de la teoría de Piaget (1973). Las modificaciones que se han realizado en la EAIS fueronenlosmaterialesyenelprocedimientodeadministración. Las cuatro series son: Exploración del objeto, búsqueda del objeto desaparecido, utilización de intermediarios (cinta, soporte e instrumento), combinación de objetos (tubo-rastrillo y tubo-cadena). El material requerido para su aplicación es: caja con los distintos elementos de la EAIS para la administración de las pruebas, manual de administración de la EAIS y protocolo. El resultado final se obtiene: ordenando en forma creciente los estadíos alcanzados en cada prueba para luego tomar la mediana de los mismos. Finalmente, se busca en la tabla el estadío de la mediana obtenido según su edad pudiendo así observar el percentil que le corresponde. El nuevo Cuadro aporta un resumen de las pruebas, series y estadíos (con sus características) para una evaluación más rápida y práctica. Palabras clave Aporte EAIS Cuadro ABSTRACT NEW CONTRIBUTION TO THE SENSORY MOTOR INTELLIGENCE ARGENTINE SCALE (EAIS) The EAIS is an adaptation from Casati and Lezine (1968) made by Oiberman; Mansilla y Orellana (2002) of the sensory-motor intelligence scale from 6 to 24 months. The EAIS´s modifications were made from the materials and procedure handling. The four series are: Object exploration, searching for the disappeared object, use of auxiliary materials (ribbon, support and instrument), combination of the objects (tube-rake and tube-chain). The required material for its applications is: the box with the different EAIS elements for the test administration, administration’s EAIS manual and protocol. The final result is obtained by ordering crescently the different stages reached by in each test, taking the medium of them. Finally, you look in the table the medium stage obtained according to the age to find the percentile reached. The new Table contributes to the summary of the tests, series and stages (with its characteristics) for a practical and faster evaluation. Key words Contribution EAIS Table
