El presente trabajo se enmarca en el Proyecto de Investigación UBACyT P039, “Momentos electivos en el tratamiento psicoanalítico de las neurosis”, dirigido por el Dr. Gabriel Lombardi. Nos proponemos en este escrito realizar una aproximación a la interrogación acerca de las posibles relaciones entre la noción de voluntad y otros conceptos que el psicoanálisis ha gestado en la indagación de esos momentos cruciales de una existencia en donde el ser hablante se ve confrontado con elecciones que lo obligarán a tomar una posición respecto de sus modos de gozar: el “deseo” y el “acto”. Voluntad, deseo y acto se presentan, entonces, como conceptos solidarios que intentan -cada uno a su modocernir la particularidad de un momento electivo. Sostenemos que por cierto descuido conceptual del psicoanálisis actual, la voluntad queda reducida en general a lo yoico: la posibilidad de enunciar un “yo quiero”. Nos preguntamos entonces en qué consistiría la dimensión de la voluntad que escape al dominio yoico, y a tal fin nos serviremos de tres referencias históricas y literarias que toma Lacan para tratar de ubicar esta problemática: Hamlet, Antígona y el cruce del Rubicón de César. Our goal in this paper is to make an approach to the question about possible relations between the concept of will and other ideas that psychoanalysis has created during the research of these crucial moments of an existence where the speaking being is confronted with choices that force her/him to take a position on his enjoyment’s ways: “desire” and “act”. Will, desire and action are, then, supportive concepts that attempt, each in its own way, to shift through the particularity of an elective moment. We consider that because of certain conceptual neglect of current psychoanalysis, the will is reduced to the ego, we might say, the capability to articulate an “I want”. We ask ourselves what would be the dimension of the will that escapes the domain of the ego, and to this purpose we will use three literary and historical references that Lacan takes to try to set this problem: Hamlet, Antigone and Caesar’s crossing of the Rubicon.
