Esta ponencia continúa el análisis de las nociones de reflejo e inhibición realizado en un trabajo anterior, en el contexto del estudio de las relaciones entre psicología y fisiología que se establecieron a principios del siglo XX en la Argentina. Más específicamente, se propone mostrar la vinculación de esas nociones con la de automatismo psicológico y con el esquema del polígono de Grasset, así como su papel en la interpretación de diversos fenómenos psicológicos normales y patológicos. Se analizan también las objeciones planteadas por las investigaciones neurofisiológicas de Christofredo Jakob y por las formulaciones teóricas de Carlos Octavio Bunge. PART II: PSYCHOLOGICAL AUTOMATISM This paper continues the analyzis of reflex and inhibition notions, developed in a previous paper, in the study of the relationships between psychology and physiology at the beginnings of twentieth century in Argentina. The aims of this work are: 1) to show the relation between these notions, the psychological automatism concept and the Grasset´s polygon sketch; 2) to examine its role in the understanding of normal and pathological psychological phenomena; 3) to analyze the objections of Christofredo Jakob, based in his physiological research, and the theoretical objections of Carlos Octavio Bunge.
