El presente trabajo está orientado a retomar la indagación del texto de Freud Inhibición, síntoma y angustia, desde una perspectiva que prosigue nuestro trabajo de “retorno a Freud” en la dirección que Lacan iniciara con la reapertura de los textos del descubrimiento del inconsciente. Según nuestro punto de vista, dicho acto de relectura no se detuvo ahí, sino que avanzó, desplazándose más o menos inadvertidamente, por el conjunto de su enseñanza hasta encontrar sus últimas formulaciones en proposiciones como las del seminario 22, titulado R.S.I. donde nos propone, “de ahora en adelante, para volver a Freud, lo siguiente: a saber: ese algo triádico que él anunció: Inhibición, síntoma y angustia”. Desde esta perspectiva es que nos hemos propuesto pesquisar el camino zigzagueante que Freud realiza cuando analiza las relaciones entre el síntoma y la inhibición con la angustia, poniendo particular atención y deteniéndonos donde interroga el valor y la función del factor económico en la génesis de la angustia. Sorprenden tanto sus afirmaciones primeras que dejan al factor económico fuera del juego estructural como también son sorprendentes los modos de ensamblaje de las “teorías” de la angustia y la función de lo económico en lo que finalmente llamará el núcleo del peligro. Abstract VICISSITUDES OF THE ECONOMIC FACTOR IN INHIBITION, SYMPTOM AND ANXIETY The present work aims at revisiting the study of Freud’s text Inhibition, Symptom and Anxiety, from a perspective which follows our work of “Returning to Freud” in the same direction Lacan introduced with the reopening of the texts about the discovery of the unconscious. From our point of view, such act of rereading did not stop there, but moved forward, displacing itself rather unnoticeable throughout his entire teaching, until finding its last formulations in the propositions put forward in Seminar 22, entitled R.S.I:“One point that I am suggesting here and now is this, to return to Freud, namely, to something triadic, he stated it as Inhibition, Symptom, Anxiety.” From this perspective we aim at inquiring the zigzag path made by Freud when analyzing the relationship between symptom, inhibition and anxiety, focusing more closely on his questioning of the value and function of the economic factor in the genesis of anxiety. As surprising as his first statements concerning anxiety, which leave the economic factor out of the structural game, are the ways of assembling the “theories” of anxiety and the economic function in what he finally names as the core of danger.
