Este trabajo se propone profundizar sobre la noción freudiana de necesidad de castigo, a partir del abordaje de algunas características esenciales que hacen a la llamada “reacción terapéutica negativa” en la cura psicoanalítica. Freud plantea la reacción terapéutica negativa como un intento de eternización del vínculo analítico y la considera el obstáculo más poderoso en el curso de la cura. Pone en juego un sentimiento inconsciente de culpa, mediante el cual el paciente halla satisfacción en la enfermedad y no quiere resignar el castigo de padecer. Como resistencia del superyó, la necesidad de castigo se encuentra en el núcleo del síntoma. Esto nos pone sobre la huella de las raíces pulsionales del superyó. En este sentido, buscaremos articular dos de los destinos de la pulsión (el trastorno hacia lo contrario y la vuelta hacia la persona propia) con la necesidad de castigo, la conciencia moral y el sentimiento inconsciente de culpa. Y, a partir de allí, intentaremos demostrar la relación existente entre estos conceptos y las nociones de “culpa” y “mala conciencia” que postula Nietzsche en “La genealogía de la moral”. A su vez, en el análisis de esta cuestión, nos tomaremos de algunas consideraciones de Lacan sobre las características en común entre las éticas kantianas y sadianas. Palabras Clave Necesidad de castigo, Reacción terapéutica negativa, Culpa, Mala conciencia Abstract THE NEED FOR PUNISHMENT AS RESISTENCE OF SUPEREGO IN THE NEGATIVE THERAPEUTIC REACTION AND ITS LINK WITH NIETZSCHEAN “GUILT” AND “BAD CONSCIENCE” This work intends to deepen into the Freudian notion of the need for punishment, approaching some of the essential features of the negativetherapeuticreactioninthepsychoanalyticcure.Freudraises the negative therapeutic reaction as an attempt of perpetuation of the analytical link and considers it the most powerful obstacle in the course of the cure. This brings about an unconscious sense of guilt, through which the patient finds satisfaction in his illness and does not want to give up the punishment of suffering. In the resistence of superego, the need for punishment lies at the core of the symptom. This leads to the trail of the instinctual roots of superego. Thus, we will try to coordinate two of the destinations of drive (reversal into the opposite and turning round upon the subject’s own self) with the need for punishment, moral conscience and unconscious sense of guilt. And from there on, we shall try to demonstrate the relationship between these concepts and notions of “guilt” and “bad conscience” that Nietzsche raises in “The Genealogy of Morals”.At the same time, in the analysis of this matter, we will take into account considerations of Lacan on common characteristics between Kantian and Sadian ethics.
