El presente trabajo se propone realizar una relectura de la dismorfia corporal, desplazando el eje de análisis desde la psicología de la percepción hacia una metapsicología basada en la economía de las fuerzas pulsionales. La tesis central sostiene que la dismorfia constituye una falla específica en la función negentrópica del Yo. Utilizando el Modelo Negentrópico y la distinción funcional entre el soma y la representación del cuerpo, se analiza el fenómeno como una perturbación económica en el aparato psíquico. A través de la analogía con la parálisis del sueño – desarrollada en investigaciones previas –, se describe el mecanismo de bifurcación energética, donde la estasis libidinal intoxica la representación del cuerpo en el psiquismo y genera una cualidad siniestra (unheimlich) en el propio cuerpo. Finalmente, se integran conceptos de la topología lacaniana para explicar la fragmentación de la unidad especular y la emergencia del objeto a en la imagen. Se concluye que la dirección de la cura debe orientarse a restaurar la capacidad negentrópica del Yo, promoviendo el pasaje de la fijeza de la imagen a la fluidez del significante. Body Dysmorphia As A Failure Of The Negentropic Apparatus In The Representation Of The Body In The Psyche This paper aims to undertake a re-reading of body dysmorphia, shifting the analytical focus from the psychology of perception toward a metapsychology based on the economics of drive forces. The central thesis maintains that dysmorphia constitutes a specific failure in the negentropic function of the Ego. Utilizing the Negentropic Model and the functional distinction between the soma and the representation of the body, the phenomenon is analyzed as an economic disturbance within the psychic apparatus. Through an analogy with sleep paralysis —developed in previous research— the mechanism of energetic bifurcation is described, wherein libidinal stasis intoxicates the representation of the body in the psyche and generates an uncanny quality (unheimlich) in the subject’s own body. Finally, Lacanian topological concepts are integrated to explain the fragmentation of specular unity and the emergence of the object a in the image. It is concluded that the direction of the cure must aim to restore the Ego’s negentropic capacity, promoting the transition from the fixity of the image to the fluidity of the signifier.
