En el presente trabajo, se trabajará en torno a ciertos lugares posibles que un sujeto puede tener ante el Otro del cáncer, a partir de la noción de goce y lo real. Se utilizará un material clínico de un paciente con diagnóstico oncológico reciente, atendida en el dispositivo de interconsulta de un hospital general. Concibiendo al goce en función del lazo entre el sujeto y el Otro, se intentará abordar la posición en la que, por momentos, la paciente queda ubicada ante el Otro de la enfermedad. Asimismo, se trabajará en torno al encuentro con lo real que implica para esta paciente su diagnóstico de cáncer y la posibilidad de la muerte, considerando distintas definiciones sobre lo real. We will use clinical material from a patient recently diagnosed with cancer, seen in the outpatient clinic of a general hospital. Conceiving jouissance in terms of the bond between the subject and the Other, we will attempt to address the position in which the patient is, at times, placed before the Other of the disease. We will also explore the encounter with the real that her cancer diagnosis and the possibility of death imply for this patient, considering different definitions of the real.
