En este trabajo se presentan los resultados del proyecto de investigación “Estrategias de migrantes en el AMBA frente a las violencias cotidianas” desarrollado en la Facultad de Humanidades de la Universidad de Belgrano. El objetivo general fue describir los discursos y prácticas violentas hacia las personas migrantes de otros países que residen en AMBA y explorar las estrategias que desarrollan estos colectivos frente a las mismas y en la organización de su vida cotidiana. A partir de entrevistar a 15 referentes de organizaciones que acompañan a personas migrantes de diversas nacionalidades en el AMBA. Se exploraron las estrategias desarrolladas por estos colectivos tanto en la organización de la vida cotidiana como frente a los procesos de estigmatización y discriminación de los que son objeto. A pesar de los desafíos como la estigmatización y la desfinanciación de organismos de derechos humanos, estas organizaciones construyen espacios de resistencia. Las prácticas culturales no son secundarias, sino una forma esencial de afirmación identitaria, permitiendo a las personas migrantes habitar el territorio argentino sin renunciar a su historia y construyendo comunidad activamente. Palabras clave Personas migrantes - Fortalecimiento - Redes sociales de apoyo - Aculturación ABSTRACT COLLECTIVE PRACTICES OF MIGRANTS IN THE METROPOLITAN AREA OF BUENOS AIRES IN FACE OF DAILY VIOLENCE This paper presents the results of the research project “Strategies of Migrants in the AMBA Region Facing Everyday Violence”, developed at the School of Psychology at the University of Belgrano. The general objective was to describe the discourses and practices of violence against migrants from other countries, living in the AMBA Region and to explore the strategies these groups develop in relation to these practices and in organizing their daily lives. The project focused on interviews with 15 representatives of organizations that support migrants of various nationalities in the AMBA Region. The strategies developed by these groups were explored, both in organizing their daily lives and in responding to the processes of stigmatization and discrimination they face. Despite challenges such as stigmatization and the underfunding of human rights organizations, these organizations build spaces of resistance. Cultural practices are not secondary, but an essential form of identity affirmation, allowing migrants to inhabit Argentine territory without renouncing their history and actively building community.
