El presente trabajo se enmarca en una investigación-acción cuyo objetivo general es indagar sobre los procesos de construcción de identidad y las trayectorias de vida en personas en situación de calle (PSC) en la Ciudad de Buenos Aires, y generar un espacio de participación y reflexión colectiva con dichas personas para problematizar las condiciones de la vida cotidiana. En esta oportunidad, se presenta una articulación entre las primeras entrevistas con PSC articulándolas con la noción de cuidado de sí. Asimismo, se vincula la noción de cuidado con la propuesta de las organizaciones de asistencia a PSC para problematizar los tipos de lógicas que afectan el cuidado de las PSC y cómo es percibido por éstas. Se observó que existen modos diversos de comprender las prácticas de autocuidado en PSC: desde una mirada del déficit o desde una mirada de la potencia. En relación a las organizaciones de asistencia se observó que las PSC pueden dar cuenta de aquéllas que los toman como objetos de cuidado, y aquéllas que los consideran sujetos con recursos y el cuidado apunta a su potenciación. Palabras clave Personas en situación de calle, Autocuidado ABSTRACT PEOPLE LIVING IN THE STREETS: SOCIAL REPRESENTATIONS AND PRACTICES AND THE LOGIC OF CARING OF THEMSELVES The present article belongs to an action research which general aim is to investigate about the processes of reality construction and the life trajectory of people living in the streets in the city of Buenos Aires, so as to generate a participation and collective thinking space with them, in order to make questions of the conditions of daily life. In this opportunity, we present an articulation of the first interviews with people living in the streets related to the notion of self caring. We entail the notion of caring with the proposal of the assistance organizations of people living in the streets, in order to discuss the kind of logics which affect the people´ living in the streets caring and how it is perceived by them. We observed the existence of different ways to understand the selfcaring practices of these people: from the glance of the deficit or from the glance of power. Related to the assistance organizations, we observed that people living in the streets could evaluate those organizations who take them into account as caring objects y other ones who consider them as subjects with own resources and the caring improves their empowerment.
