El fin del presente trabajo es investigar la forma en que Freud entiende la cura del síntoma y la naturaleza de la acción reservada al analista en el proceso del tratamiento. Con tal propósito, se realizará una comparación de cuatro momentos de la obra de Freud, separados por varios años de trabajo. Los conceptos de resistencia y transferencia aparecerán como puntos importantes en el desarrollo de este estudio.
