La versión informatizada del Registro de Preferencias de Kuder es el resultado del Proyecto de Investigación “Actualización e informatización del Registro de Preferencias de Kuder. Un aporte a las prácticas en Orientación Vocacional” (aprobado por). En esta versión, se incluyen los baremos actualizados y la nueva Tabla de Profesiones, productos también de la investigación de referencia. El cuestionario evalúa intereses en diez Áreas: Aire Libre, Tecnológico-Mecánica, Cálculo, Científica, Persuasiva, Artística, Literaria, Musical, Social-Asistencial y Oficina Contable. Incluye 504 actividades agrupadas de tres en tres. En cada grupo debe optarse por dos alternativas: la actividad que más interesa y la actividad que menos interesa. Luego de haberse respondido a todos los ítems, el sistema muestra el perfil de intereses obtenido y el listado de carreras que se corresponden a dicho perfil, conforme a la Tabla de Profesiones. La informatización constituye un recurso tecnológico que supera el sistema de plantillas de corrección manual utilizado hasta el momento. COMPUTER BASED VERSION The computer based version of Kuder Preference Register is the result of the Research Proyect “Update and Computerization of the Kuder Register of Preferences: A contribution to Vocational Orientation Practices” (approved by SECyT. 2007/08. Res. Rec. Nº 222/07 y Nº 249/07, UNRC). In this version the updated BAREMOS and the new Table of Professions are included. These are also by-products of the previously mentioned research project. The questionnaire evaluates interests in ten different areas: “Open Air”, Technologic-mechanical, Calculus, Scientific, Persuasive, Artistic, Literary, Musical, Social-Assistential and Office-Accounting. It includes 504 activities grouped in trios. In each group two different alternatives should be chosen: the activities which are found to be the most and the least interesting. Once the questionnaire has been completed the system reveals the “profile of interests” obtained and the list of careers that match such profile in accordance with the Table of Professions. Computerization is a technological resource that exceeds the manual correction system utilized up to now. In this way, application and evaluation times are shortened.
