Desde la intersección de dos discursos: el Psicoanalítico y el de los Estudios de Género, este trabajo expone algunas líneas conceptuales delimitadas en el proyecto de investigación “El proceso de constitución de la identidad de género: aportes de Judith Butler para una reconceptualización”. Retomando los objetivos propuestos, se presenta un análisis bibliográfico que constituye el marco teórico desde el cual se abordan algunos conceptos centrales respecto a la constitución de la identidad de género. Se hace especial énfasis en la categoría de identificación, así como su incidencia en la constitución de la identidad -en general- y la identidad de género -en particular. En este sentido, a través del análisis del pensamiento de Jessica Benjamin y, fundamentalmente, de Judith Butler se delimitan nociones tales como identificaciones inestables, identificaciones cruzadas, diferenciaciones múltiples e identificación fantasmática, para lograr acceder a la comprensión de la identidad desde otro punto de mira, no esencializado. JUDITH BUTLER’S CONTRIBUTION TO CONTEMPORARY PSYCHOANALYSIS From the intersection of two discourses, the Psychoanalytical and the Gender studies discourse, this work displays some of the concepts outlined in the “The identity gender constitution process: Judith Butler’s contributions to reconceptualization”. Returning to the originally proposed objectives, the author introduces a biographical analysis that constitues the theoretical background from wich some central concepts of the gender identity are discussed. There is special stress in the identification category, as well as its influence in the general identity, and especifically in the gender identity constitution. In this sense, through the thought analysis of Jessica Benjamin and fundamentally of Judith Butler, notions as unstable identifications, cross-identifications, multiple differentiations and phantasmatic identification are outlined in order to achieve comprehension of the identity from a different, unessentialized point of view.
