La siguiente investigación fue realizada con el objetivo de caracterizar a los niños/as y adolescentes que frecuentan las estaciones del Ferrocarril San Martín y deambulan por las calles. Problemática creciente, que aparece con mayor visibilidad luego de la década de los noventa y de la crisis económica-política del 2001. Se elaboro un cuestionario cerrado y estructurado, que pudiera incluir datos significativos para realizar una segunda etapa de entrevistas en profundidad y de elaboración de estrategias de intervención con los NNYA. El cuestionario exploro variables como: sexo, edad, grupo conviviente, escolaridad y se incluyeron variables relacionadas a gustos, preferencias, intereses, figuras significativas, apoyo social percibido y proyección de futuro. Estas ultimas preguntas fueron incluidas precisamente para explorar cuales pueden ser las herramientas mediadoras que permitan una intervención posterior.
