El presente trabajo esta basado en un trabajo de campo realizado durante la cursada de la materia Psicología Institucional, Cátedra 1 de la Facultad de Psicología, UBA, en el transcurso del Segundo Cuatrimestre de 2008. Realizamos 3 entrevistas a diferentes profesionales que trabajan en un Servicio de Adicciones. El propósito del mismo fue indagar sobre las relaciones entre el equipo interdisciplinario de la Institución y su funcionamiento como grupo, analizar también como se vio atravesada la institución por los diferentes contextos sociopolíticos y por último, como los imaginarios sociales acerca de la niñez influyen en los tratamientos que se realizan en el servicio. Partiendo de la noción de grupo objeto y asociándolo con los conceptos de analizador y trasversalidad, el lector comprenderá la pertinencia de estos conceptos a la hora de llevar acabo un análisis institucional. A su vez, como dichos conceptos permiten comprender la importancia de las relaciones entre miembros de una institución.
