Entendemos por “momentos electivos” aquellos puntos privilegiados en los que se pone de manifiesto frente a la determinación del mecanismo psicótico que se impone, la sumisión al mismo, por un lado; y la posibilidad de sustraerse a tal coerción, por otro. Nos interesa discernir los efectos clínicos de tales momentos en los modos particulares del encuentro entre paciente y analista, particularmente en el inicio del tratamiento.
