El presente trabajo se enmarca en la investigación UBACyT P022 “El sinthome en las neurosis: abordajes de las neurosis en el último período de la obra de Jacques Lacan (1978 - 1981)”. Se sostiene además de un interés clínico ante el encuentro con las pacientes que la psiquiatría llama Borders. Se intenta abordar estos casos desde el psicoanálisis para pensar: su relación al Otro, planteando la falta de creencia en la garantía del Otro; y el trabajo con las identificaciones para pensar las consecuencias clínicas del amor del padre.
