El presente trabajo es una breve reseña de un momento histórico en la vida muchos habitantes de la provincia de San Luis, que tuvo como fecha de comienzo el 20 Octubre de 2008, y que concluyó el 12 de marzo de 2009 con el juzgamiento de cinco represores de la última dictadura militar, por la muerte de 3 jóvenes detenidos-desaparecidos en la primavera de 1976: Graciela Fiochetti, Pedro Valentín Ledesma y Santana Alcaraz. La importancia de realizar un relato de lo ocurrido, es dar testimonio del primer juicio a represores de la dictadura en ésta provincia, pero además en la zona de Cuyo. Pero además, es un aporte importante en la investigación sobre el proceso de resiliencia en los familiares de detenidos-desaparecidos de la Dictadura Militar ocurrida durante los años 1976-1983, en la zona de Cuyo. Por ello, se pretende rescatar la historia de estos jóvenes, con nombre y apellido, y la fuerza y tenacidad de sus familiares que a pesar de haber pasado más de 30 años y muchos obstáculos en el camino no bajaron los brazos, siguieron peleando y esperando, con fe, de que en algún momento llegaría lo que tanto habían ansiado, la justicia.
