Los embarazos y la maternidad adolescente son frecuentes en los sectores de bajos recursos. Para abordar este hecho como fenómeno sociocultural se realizó una investigación con diseño cualitativo, que incluyó una serie de entrevistas a adolescentes embarazadas del Barrio de Villa 20 (Lugano, Ciudad de Bs. As.) que concurren al Centro de Salud Nº 18 para controlar su embarazo. Es objetivo del estudio encontrar datos que faciliten las acciones de promoción de la salud en materia de salud sexual y reproductiva, para favorecer la apropiación de herramientas y recursos por parte de la comunidad. Se espera que sus resultados contribuyan al monitoreo del Programa de Salud Reproductiva de la Ciudad de Buenos Aires, y de Programas afines. Resumen en Inglés The pregnancies and the adolescent maternity are frequent in the sectors of low resources. In order to approach this fact as a sociocultural phenomenon was made an investigation with qualitative design, that included a series of interviews to pregnant adolescents of the Neighborhood of the Villa 20 (Lugano, City of Bs. As.) that they concur to the Center of Health Nº 18 to control his pregnancy. The objective of the study is to find data that facilitate the actions of promotion of the health in the matter of sexual and reproductive health, to favor the appropriation of tools and resources on the part of the community. It is hoped that their results contribute to the monitoring of the Program of Reproductive Health for the City of Buenos Aires, and the related Programs.
