En este trabajo la autora intenta establecer un paralelismo entre la racionalización del mundo capitalista –convertido en una “jaula de hierro” según la profecía de Max Weber– y la racionalización de la estructura histérica –cuya forma sintomática podría ser la anorexia–, destacando el rasgo weberiano del “desencanto” como efecto de este proceso racionalizador. Asimismo, se plantea en este texto la posibilidad de un “re-encantamiento” de la intervención analítica sobre los modos de goce consumistas y compulsivos del sujeto posmoderno, localizando esta operación en las fronteras indefinidas e híbridas que caracterizan la era de la globalización. Resumen en Inglés The author of this work attempts to establish a parallelism between the rationalization of the capitalist world –transformed in an “iron cage” according to Max Weber’s profecy– and the rationalization of the hysterical structure –of which anorexia could be its symptomatical shape–, underlining the weberian feature of “disenchantment” as an effect of this rationalizing process. This paper sets, as well, the possibility of “re-enchanting” the analytic intervention in the consumist and compulsive types of jouissance of the postmodern subject, placing this action in the not defined and hybrid frontiers that characterize the globalization age.
