En este trabajo se presentan los resultados obtenidos a partir del proceso de adaptación lingüística del test de Razonamiento Verbal perteneciente al Test de Aptitudes Diferenciales, de Bennet, Seashore y Wesman (1992). Se informa, también, el análisis del funcionamiento diferencial de los ítems de la prueba en cuanto a su capacidad de discriminación y a su nivel de dificultad en la muestra considerada. La muestra estuvo conformada por 212 estudiantes universitarios, mujeres y varones, de la Ciudad de Buenos Aires. Estos objetivos se desprenden de lo planteado en el proyecto de investigación “Perfiles académicos en estudiantes universitarios: rendimiento, habilidades, hábitos de estudio, estrategias de afrontamiento y apoyo social” (ANPCyT, PICT2006, nro. 863).
