En este trabajo se intenta hacer un recorrido acerca del Síndrome de Tourette (1885). Esta es una afección neurológica, por la cual podemos visualizar su sintomatología en esta estructura, aunque su etiología aún no es posible especificarla; en las repercusiones psico-sociales que se presentan en los niños que padecen del trastorno y sus consecuencias en su desarrollo psicológico. El objetico principal de esta investigación es identificar las causas que generan el síndrome de Tourette. Diferenciar los niños con tics de los que poseen dicho síndrome. La metodología de este trabajo fue entrevistar a veinte padres y consecuentemente analizar la bibliografía y el material que la Asociación Argentina brinda. La salida al campo ya se realizó y se aplicó la técnica correspondiente y los datos están siendo evaluados. Como conclusión los efectos psicológicos y sociales del Síndrome causa en la sociedad que rodea el individuo que padece esta enfermedad temor y la represión de sus más allegados a enfrentar esta situación frente a un grupo elevado de personas así como el miedo al rechazo y juicio de aquellos que desconocen esta enfermedad. Sin embargo a través de sus tratamientos y a medida que van madurando disminuye con la edad. This is a neurological condition, which can visualize the symptomatology in this structure, although its etiology is not yet possible to specify; in the psycho-social effects that occur in children with the disorder and its impact on their psychological development. The main objetico of this research is to identify the causes of Tourette’s syndrome. Differentiate children with tics of those with the syndrome. The methodology of this study was interviewing parents and consequently twenty analyze the literature and material that the association provides. The field trip has already taken place and applied the relevant technical and data are being evaluated. In conclusion the psychological and social effects of the syndrome causes in society surrounding the individual suffering from this disease are fear and repression of those closest to deal with this situation against a large group of people and fear of rejection and judgment of those who are unaware of this disease.
