Las manifestaciones clínicas denominadas locura histérica, han sido desarrolladas por muchos autores de la psiquiatría clásica, desde Moreau deTours hasta Pierre Janet, pasando por Kraepelin y otros. Tomando los trabajos que, desde 1970, desarrollo J.C. Maleval para relanzar el debate acerca de la vigencia del cuadro de la locura histérica, y tomando su descripción del cuadro, delimitamos al onirismo y al fenómeno del doble como característicos, aunque no excluyentes, de este cuadro e intentamos seguir su recorrido dentro del campo de la psiquiatría y del psicoanálisis para concebir la entidad clínica de la locura histérica. Podemos afirmar que, si la locura histérica tiene en su fundamento en una perturbación de lo imaginario, ambos fenómenos clínicos tocan este punto. A modo de conclusión, nos interesa destacar el lugar de estos fenómenos al momento de delimitar el cuadro, para poder pensar luego en su vigencia clínica. Palabras Clave Locura Histérica, Onirismo, fenómeno del doble, diagnóstico diferencial Abstract THE PHENOMENA OF THE DOUBLE AND ONEIRISM IN HYSTERICAL FOLLY The clinical manifestations denominated as Hysterical Folly was delineated by many authors of the classic psychiatry, from Moreau de Tours to Pierre Janet, including Emil Kräepelin and others. Starting with the works that in the ‘70s J.C. Maleval developed in order to restart the polemics around the use of the hysterical folly, we take from his definition of these clinical manifestations the phenomena of double and oneirism to think its specificity. The aim is to describe the phenomena of the double and oneirism both in psychiatry and psychoanalysis and delimitate the clinical manifestation of hysterical folly. We might affirmed that if hysterical folly consists on a disorder of the imaginary, both phenomenas include this disorder. We are interested in underlining the place of these phenomenas when thinking of hysterical folly, and in order to continue the polemic of its use.
