Freud aborda el historial de Elisabeth von R. a partir de la formación sustitutiva con la cual intenta dar cuenta de la desaparición del síntoma conversivo. Situaremos otro nivel de lectura posible en el texto a partir del desarrollo de Lacan del concepto de repetición como producción en el análisis. Interrogaremos el historial de curación para responder por el estatuto de la producción de lo que podemos denominar “la voz de mi cuñado”, que se recorta en el transcurso del tratamiento y que pone fin a la repetición de los dolores de la paciente. Freud deals with the medical history of Elisabeth von R., taking the substitutive formation as a starting point. This substitutive formation establishes that the conversion symptom disappeared. We will state another possible level for reading the text taking Lacan´s concept of repetition as a consequence of the analysis into account. We will examine the medical history to answer for the production´s statute of what we can name as “the voice of my brother-in-law”, which is produced througout the treatement and makes the repetition of the patient´s ache, stop.
