Este artículo toma como punto de partida el modo de presentación de un paciente en las entrevistas preliminares a un tratamiento. A partir del material nos proponemos realizar algunas reflexiones acerca de la estructura de la interpretación teniendo en cuenta el fin que persigue, la concepción de Inconsciente que supone de acuerdo a dicho fin y el destino de las elaboraciones de saber que se decantan de un análisis. Propone al equívoco como modelo de la interpretación caracterizándolo como una respuesta del analista que suspende la convicción y permitiría hacer surgir lo electivo en el tratamiento. Sostiene que en su puesta en acto el analista no lleva al sujeto a alcanzar el saber, sino que permite que se pueda establecer su falla y la dimensión de separación que hay entre este y el sujeto. Palabras clave Interpretación Determinación Elección Saber ABSTRACT THE INTERPRETATION AGAINST THE CONVICTION OF KNOWLEDGE This article examines the modality of presentation of a patient in the preliminary interviews to a treatment. Taking this material into account, our purpose is to make an analysis about the structure of interpretation taking into consideration the purpose it pursuits, the conception of the unconscious it implies according to that purpose and the destiny of the knowledge acquired in an analytic process. This work proposes equivocation as a model for interpretation considering it a response which suspends the conviction in the consultant allowing the possibility of choice during the treatment. The author states that the use of equivocation as means of interpretation doesn´t lead to acquire and consolidate knowledge, but allows to establish its failure and the separation between it and the subject.
