En este trabajo se propone un conjunto de reflexiones sobre el estatuto del sujeto en las distintas orientaciones de la disciplina psi, principalmente las terapias de orientación cognitivo-conductual y el psicoanálisis, teniendo como base estructural de dicho proceso, los conceptos de memoria, cuerpo y realidad. Esta tríada orientadora en su interrelación y construcción de la práctica psicoanalítica, como despliegue singular y ético de un sujeto responsable, en las propias condiciones de posibilidad de su falta en ser constitutiva. La construcción de la realidad psíquica como ese derrotero significante que en su propia dinámica, actualiza una memoria cuya condición de existencia se estructura en el desencuentro que su posición sexuada determina. Al mismo tiempo la terapia cognitivo-conductual desenlaza estos conceptos, haciéndolos blanco de los sentidos adaptativos propios de la buena forma que sostienen sus prácticas. Indivisibles formas que se actualizan cuando la problemática de interrelación con la realidad externa se complejiza, apelando a la batería de orientaciones contractuales con el terapeuta, que equilibran las almacenes mnémicas del cual se nutren los comportamientos ineficaces y las emociones que desestabilizan las respuestas corporales correspondientes.
