En el presente trabajo se busca articular los conceptos de angustia, terror y trauma, en el marco de la teoría psicoanalítica. La angustia es generada como señal ante una situación de peligro y actúa como una barrera que protege contra el terror. El apronte angustiado funciona sobreinvistiendo los sistemas que reciben el estímulo para prepararlos para el peligro. En el terror el sujeto no pudo prepararse para el peligro y éste desborda al psiquismo, no logrando ligar las cantidades de excitación que ingresan. Se produce así la ruptura de la protección antiestímulo, el terror y el trauma. La angustia, en tanto señal, opera como recurso. Se constituye en la última protección del sujeto para no ser invadido por el terror y sufrir las consecuencias de lo traumático. Lacan plantea que lo traumático es el encuentro, siempre fallido, con lo real. El carácter de imposibilidad y de resistencia a la simbolización es lo que presta a lo real su cualidad esencialmente traumática. Palabras clave Angustia Terror Trauma Real ABSTRACT ANGUISH: A SUBJECTIVE RESOURCE IN THE PRESENCE OF TERROR The present work intends to articulate the concepts of anguish, terror and trauma, in the framework of the psychoanalytic theory. The anguish is generated as a sign of a situation of danger and acts as a barrier that protects against terror. The anguish works preparing systems that receive the stimulus for the risk. In the terror the subject could not be prepared for the danger and this one exceeds the psique, not managing to tie the quantities of excitation that enter. The break of the protection produces the terror and the trauma. The anguish, as a sign, operates as a resource. It is the last protection of the subject not to be invaded by the terror and to suffer the consequences of the trauma. Lacan suggests that trauma is the meeting, always failed, with the real. The character of impossibility and of resistance to the symbolization is what gives to real its traumatic quality. Key words Anguish Terror Trauma Real
