Previa a la interrogación por parte de Lacan de la posible correspondencia entre el fin de análisis y la identificación al síntoma, éste define a la identificación como la “cristalización de una identidad”. Es entonces, en relación al esta articulación entre identificación e identidad, que el presente trabajo propone recorrer las articulaciones previas establecida por Lacan entre estos términos, en el intento de echar luz sobre ese último uso y su aplicación al fin de análisis. Este trabajo se enmarca en el contexto más general de la investigación en torno al concepto de identificación y sus transformaciones que se ha llevado adelante en el proyecto Ubacyt P036.
