Se presentan análisis psicométricos adicionales del Inventario de Afrontamiento para Adolescentes y Universitarios (Moos, 1993; Ongarato, de la Iglesia, Stover & Fernández Liporace, 2009; Rial Boubeta, de la Iglesia, Ongarato & Fernández Liporace, 2011). Se buscaron evidencias de validez de constructo con las escalas de la Escala de Estrategias de Afrontamiento (Basabe, 2004). Luego, se evaluó la estabilidad de las puntaciones a través de un test-retest – intervalo de dos meses y medio–.Las muestras con las que se trabajó fuerondos:ladelprimerestudioestabaconstituidapor94estudiantes de edades entre 18 y 44 años (M= 24,56; DE= 4,56; 54,6% mujeres, 45,4% varones); la del segundo estudio por 44 estudiantes con edades entre 21 y 68 años (M= 26,25; DE= 8,29; 72,7% mujeres; 27,3% varones). Se encontraron evidencias de validez convergente para las escalas de afrontamiento aproximativo conductual, evitativo cognitivo y conductual. No se encontró evidencia de validez discriminante para la escala de afrontamiento por aproximación cognitiva. Las correlaciones de las puntuaciones del test-retest resultaron significativas, positivas y moderadas. Nuevamente los estudios psicométricos demuestran la fortaleza del test en relación a la medición del constructo evaluado –afrontamiento– y las leves dificultades en lo referido a la confiabilidad. Abstract CONSTRUCT VALIDITY EVIDENCES AND SCORE STABILITY OF THE COPING INVENTORY FOR ADOLESCENTS AND COLLEGE STUDENTS Additional psychometric analysis for the Coping Inventory for Adolescents and College Students (Moos, 1993; Ongarato, de la Iglesia, Stover & Fernández Liporace, 2009; Rial Boubeta, de la Iglesia, Ongarato & Fernández Liporace, 2011) are presented. Evidences of construct validity with the Coping Strategies Scale (Basabe, 2004) were sought. Afterwards, the stability of the scores by means of a test-retest was assessed –two and a half months interval–. Two samples were used: the sample of the first study was conformed by 94 students of ages 18 to 44 years old (M= 24,56; DE= 4,56; 54,6% female, 45,4% male); the sample for the second study included 44 students of ages 21 to 68 years old (M= 26,25; DE= 8,29; 72,7% female; 27,3% male). Evidences of convergent validity were found for the behavioral approach, cognitive and behavioral avoidance coping scales. No evidence of discriminant validity was found for the cognitive approach scale. The correlations of the testretest scores were significant,positive and moderate.Once again,the psychometric studies show the strength of the test in terms of coping assessment and the mild difficulties found regarding fiability.
