El presente trabajo tiene por objetivo compartir algunos avances del Proyecto de Investigación “Parejas y parentalidad en parejas del mismo sexo” perteneciente a la Facultad de Psicología de la Universidad Nacional de La Plata a cargo de la dirección de Vidal Iara Vanina,Adjunta de la Cátedra de Psicología Institucional de dicha Facultad. En esta oportunidad, en primer lugar realizaremos, mediante un análisis bibliográfico, un breve recorrido histórico sobre el concepto de familia para diferentes autores, estableciendo así a que noción adherimos como proyecto de investigación. En segundo lugar, analizaremos las entrevistas en profundidad realizadas por el equipo, a parejas de mujeres con hijos o con deseo de hijo, haciendo hincapié en como definen ellas “la familia” y como describen “su familia”. En tercer lugar, articularemos aquello que está pensado como familia y todas las transformaciones que se han producido, por los diferentes autores teóricos elegidos, con aquello que las entrevistadas definen como familia. Como conclusión, podemos plantear que si bien las parejas de mujeres se instalan sobre imaginarios diferentes a las heterosexuales, por momentos siguen reproduciendo la familia tradicional y por momentos logran presentar innovaciones. Palabras clave Familia - Parejas de mujeres - Permanencias - Transformaciones ABSTRACT THE FAMILY AND ITS FAMILY FOR WOMEN’S COUPLES The objective of this work is to share some of the advances of the Research Project Parenting and Couple in Same Sex Couples of the Shchool of Psychology of the National University of La Plata, under the management of Iara Vanina Vidal,Assistant Professor of the Institutional Psychology chair of such School. In this opportunity, by making a bibliographic analysis, we will firstly examine how the concept of “family” has been understood throughout history by the different authors, so as to make clear which notion we adhere to as a research project. Secondly, we will analyze in depth the interviews conducted by the research team with female couples with children or with the wish to have one, emphasizing how they define “family” and how the describe “their family”. Thirdly, we will combine what is thought of as “family” and all the transformations that the concept has undergone considering the selected theoreticians with what the interviewees define as “family”. As a conclusion, we can pose that even if female couples appear in a different collective imaginary than heterosexual couples, at times they continue to reproduce the traditional family and at other times they manage to present innovations.
