The aim of this article is to expound some of the consequences Kant´s definition of Ethics ("doctrine of virtue") as "the system of the ends of pure practical reason" in MS has for a systematic understanding of Kant´s Ethics. Specially, we focus on the way this definition affects those renderings of Kant´s Ethics that consider it to be an eminently formal and procedural theory of morality and moral worth.
