Esta investigación analiza cinco cursos de la Universidad Nacional de San Luis que brindan parte central de la formación teórica general, incial y común a todos los futuros graduados de la Licenciatura en Psicología: Psicoanálisis I; Psicoanálisis: Escuela Inglesa; Psicoanálisis: Escuela Francesa; Psicología Cognitiva Conductual; Psicología Cognitiva Integrativa. Se procede a realizar un relevamiento bibliométrico de la bibliografía básica y complementaria de los programas de cada una de estos cinco cursos, observando las diversas características de la misma y estableciendo una clasificación del tipo del tipo de texto de cada una de las lecturas obligatorias: libro entero, capítulo de libro colectivo, artículo de publicación científica, ficha de cátedra, fragmento de libro de un mismo autor. También se observará y analizará el monto total de lecturas exigidas a estudiantes, y la disponibilidad de dichos textos en la biblioteca de la Universidad Nacional de San Luis (biblioteca Antonio Esteban Agüero), entre otras características. Finalmente, en base al análisis de los criterios antes mencionados, se elaborarán conclusiones referidas a la formación que los estudiantes en la Universidad Nacional de San Luis reciben en sus cursos básicos. Research in the area of training in psychology can be considered of vital importance to improve professional performance. Such area includes, among many analized variables, the particulars of the readings referenced in the syllabi of the undergraduate program. This research analyzes five courses of the undergraduate program of the National University of San Luis, which form a group of courses common to all students. The analyzed courses are: Psychoanalysis 1, Psychoanalysis: French School, Psychoanalysis: English School; Cognitive Behavioral Psychology, Cognitive Integrative Psychology. A bibliometrical analysis is then performed on the required and optional readings of each course, pointing the diverse aspects of each, and developing a classification of the type of each text of the required readings: books, chapters of books, articles from journals, selected fragments from a book, other non-published texts from the courses’ professorship. The total amount of the readings and the availability of such texts in the library of the National University of San Luis (Antonio Esteban Agüero library) will also be observed and analyzed, among other aspects. Based on this criteria, results refer to the teaching and training in psychology that the students of the National University of San Luis receive in their basic courses.
