En el presente trabajo se realiza un paralelismo entre las teorías de E. Pichón Rivière y Lev Vigotsky, los cuales pese a su lejania socio-cultural llegan a importantes coincidencias teóricas. Ambos aplican el materialismo histórico y dialéctico a la psicología. En virtud de las posiciones materialistas que sostienen afirman que son las condiciones concretas de existencia las que constituyen el psiquismo humano a través de múltiples mediaciones sociales. Por tal motivo se realiza una revisión del concepto trabajo, traducido como actividad en la teoría vigotskyana y como tarea en el ECRO de Pichon Rivière, destacando el lugar central que ocupan en sus teorías. Resumen en Inglés The present work makes a comprative study between E Pichón Riviere and Lev Vigotsky theories, which despite their authors social an cultural distance, arrives to important theoretical coincidences. Both of them applies historical and dialectic matherialism to psychology. Based on the matherialistic positions they support, they affirm that the concrete existence conditions constitute the human psychysm through multiple social mediations.
