Presentaremos en este escrito los fundamentos que han dado vida a un taller de arte en un Hospital General. La propuesta surgió a partir de la práctica con pacientes graves en consultorios externos. Dicho espacio era insuficiente para alojarlos: no se contaba en la institución con otro dispositivo más que el consultorio y ellos no tenían prácticamente lazos sociales. Se desarrollará en el escrito el tema de la sublimación en Freud y en Lacan, para presentar el fundamento teórico de uno de los talleres, el de magia. Se articulará con un caso, extraído de este taller, para dar cuenta de la modalidad de trabajo en este dispositivo. Palabras clave Taller Magia Sublimación Arte ABSTRACT ART WORKSHOPS IN GENERAL HOSPITALS This article will present the foundations that begot an art workshop in a general hospital. The propose rose from the practice with acute ambulatory patients. That setting was insufficient to give them shelter: the institution did not have a tool other than the office, and the patients did not have, practically, social bonds. We will develop the subject of sublimation in Freud and Lacan to present the theoric basis of one of the workshops: the magic workshop. We examine a case, to explore this modality and this setting.
