El presente trabajo tiene por fin indagar algunas de las conceptualizaciones que realiza J. Lacan sobre la sexualidad femenina, fundamentalmente tomando lo desarrollado en la última parte de su enseñanza. El interés de esta temática radica en poder situar como dicho autor, a partir de plantear un más allá del padre y del falo, culmina en la formulación de una lógica para lo femenino diversa de la fálica en aquello atinente al goce. Esto se efectúa mediante la construcción de las fórmulas de la sexuación y el concepto de no-todo, correlativos de la ausencia de relación sexual y de la inexistencia de lo universal femenino, lo cual conlleva pensar el estatuto de la distribución sexual como así también el lugar de lo femenino en la lógica de los encadenamientos y desencadenamientos y sus relaciones, particularmente de oposición, con el sinthome histérico.
