La formación de grado debe ofrecer conocimientos que articulen teoría y práctica. La Ley de Educación Superior incluye al título de Psicólogo como profesión de Interés público. Sin embargo quedó evidenciado en investigaciones anteriores las limitaciones existentes en la formación de grado en el área de Psicodiagnóstico: campo de acción profesional, incluido en las incumbencias del título. Se considera la materia Psicodiagnóstico (Adultos), de carácter optativo. El análisis muestra que alumnos pueden optar no hacerla, priorizando en su elección materias obligatorias tanto para el cursado como a la hora de rendir exámenes. Si el plan de estudios ofrece un sistema de créditos con una amplia oferta de materias optativas, es el mismo plan el que posibilita esto. If the study plan offers a credit system with a wide offer of optional subjects, it is the same plan the one that makes this possible.
