Este trabajo se enmarca dentro del Proyecto de Investigación "Psicología comunitaria: redes sociales y prácticas en salud" perteneciente a la Facultad de Psicología de la Universidad Nacional de Tucumán, y financiado por el Consejo de Investigaciones de la Universidad Nacional de Tucumán (C.I.U.N.T). El mismo surge al detectarse que un sector de mujeres de bajos recursos, residentes en el área sudoeste del Municipio de San Miguel de Tucumán, mostraban escaso compromiso con conductas preventivas de autocuidado en torno a la salud sexual. Dentro de este marco, el trabajo presenta los resultados referidos a una primera etapa de la investigación preocupada por realizar un diagnostico ambiental de la comunidad abordada. Para ello, se utilizó de técnicas de carácter cuantiTativo y cualitativo con el objeto de obtener datos referidos a las vivencias subjetivas del entorno donde habitan y la participación en las diferentes actividades realizadas en dicha comunidad. The same one arises when being detected that a sector of women of low resources, residents in the southwest area of the Municipality of San Miguel de Tucumán, shwed scare commitment with preventive behaviors of car taken care around the sexual health.
