Se desarrollan los interrogantes y antecedentes centrales que enmarcan la investigación de tesis de Maestría de la primera autora: “La problemática de la Educación Ciudadana. Docentes y Alumnos del nivel medio de enseñanza”, que es dirigida por la segunda. Se presentan los temas más significativos de la problemática inherente a la Educación Ciudadana en el nivel medio de enseñanza en los diferentes aspectos que conforman su complejidad: la educación media en el ámbito de la Ciudad de Buenos Aires; los debates actuales en torno a qué significa enseñar hoy Ciudadanía; la emergencia de los argumentos de los adolescentes respecto a los contenidos cívico políticos que reciben en la escuela; los programas curriculares de la asignatura Educación Cívica; las perspectivas, significados y concepciones de los docentes y alumnos acerca del proceso de enseñanza-aprendizaje de los contenidos de Educación Cívica o Ciudadana. Asimismo se vinculan los problemas indagados por la segunda autora en la investigación marco en que se inserta el proyecto de tesis, con las cuestiones específicas que la fundamentan. Finalmente, se proponen los objetivos que guían esta nueva investigación, las particularidades de su diseño metodológico así como las hipótesis formuladas. Palabras Clave Educación Ciudadana - Nivel medio Abstract AN APPROACH TO THE PROBLEM OF THE CITIZENSHIP EDUCATION IN THE HALF LEVEL DE TEACHING The queries and central antecedents are developed that frame the investigation of thesis of the first author’s Master: “The problem of the Citizenship Education. Educational and Students of the half level of teaching” that is directed by second author The most significant topics are presented from the inherent problem to the Citizenship Education in the half level of teaching in the different aspects that conform their complexity: the half education in the environment of the City of Buenos Aires; the current debates around what its means to teach today Citizenship; the emergency of the arguments of the adolescents regarding the political civic contents that they receive in the school; the curricular programs of the subject Civic Education; the perspectives, meanings and conceptions of the educational ones and students about the process of teaching-learning of the contents of Civic Education or Citizen. Also the problems are linked investigated by the second author in the investigation mark in that the thesis project is inserted, with the specific questions that base it. Finally, they intend the objectives that guide this new investigation, the particularities of their methodological design as well as the formulated hypotheses.
