Ha sido posible aproximar a las Escuelas de Recuperación y analizar algunas características de la población de Primer Ciclo, tales como edades, género y clase social, también las motivaciones por las cuales ocupan ese lugar escolar. Se han analizado sus desempeños en vida cotidiana con juegos de pantallas, desde la teoría sociohistórica. Estos son de interés para el mundo académico contemporáneo, los autores seleccionados sitúan la indagación en la actividad que despliegan en las pantallas. Los sujetos fueron entrevistados en la escuela y filmados en vida cotidiana, en la actividad mencionada. Se analizaron los aprendizajes que posibilitan los juegos y los Procesos Psicológicos que allí se despliegan. Se analizó el desarrollo de atención voluntaria, imaginación creadora y construcción de saberes letrados, tecnológicos y numéricos. Ambos contextos de análisis aparecen muy separados. Las Escuelas de Recuperación, plasmadas en épocas de dictadura militar, con poblaciones netamente masculinas, no han podido aún hacer lugar a los saberes y capitales simbólicos posibles de visibilizar en vida cotidiana. La Ciudad tiene una deuda con ellas, esto es brindar una mejor oferta educativa en el marco de las escuelas comunes albergando la diversidad y trabajando con herramientas conceptuales que favorezcan el desarrollo y la inclusión.
