El objetivo de este trabajo es indagar las representaciones que circulan y se transmiten en torno a los conceptos de equidad y calidad de la educación en el contexto universitario. Este estudio resulta de una exploración preliminar en el marco de un proyecto de investigación más amplio circunscripto a la investigación de procesos educativos en el ámbito de la Universidad Nacional de Rosario (UNR). El presente trabajo comprende el análisis de las tres normativas que regulan dicho espacio universitario: la Ley Nacional de Educación Nº26.206, la Ley Nacional de Educación Superior Nº24.521 y el Estatuto de la UNR. Es posible apreciar que el término equidad se encuentra concebido desde la perspectiva del alumno y semánticamente asociado a una igualdad de oportunidades planteadas en términos de equivalencias. Estas representaciones contemplan las dimensiones contextuales y culturales que configuran los escenarios históricamente situados de los agentes educativos, distanciándose de visiones clásicas de la enseñanza y el aprendizaje. Asimismo, el concepto de calidad de la educación no se encuentra definido explícitamente, sino que su delimitación se delega sobre organismos que tienen como función establecer los criterios y los principios para su evaluación en relación con su adecuación social y local. This study is part of the preliminary explorations of a project of investigation of the educational process at the National University of Rosario (UNR).
