El siguiente trabajo rondará en torno a dos conceptos cruciales para pensar la neurosis: el fantasma y la angustia. La pregunta en torno a la cual ensayaré algunas articulaciones es acerca del lugar y la función del fantasma en la fobia. ¿Qué ocurre con el fantasma y su función de sostén del deseo en la fobia, a la que Lacan define como la forma más radical de las neurosis, puntualizando que “está hecha para sostener la relación con el deseo bajo la forma de la angustia”?
