Este trabajo se inscribe en el proyecto “El consentimiento informado en investigaciones psicológicas con niños. Consideraciones ético-normativas”, cuyo propósito es relevar y revisar la bibliografía referente al consentimiento informado (CI) en investigaciones psicológicas con niños. Luego de analizar cómo se presenta el CI en normativas legales nacionales e internacionales y de examinar las especificidades que éste adopta en investigaciones con niños en general, en este trabajo nos proponemos realizar un análisis crítico del tratamiento que recibe el CI específicamente en investigaciones psicológicas con niños. El consentimiento y/o asentimiento que el niño pueda brindar en investigaciones que lo involucren es importante para el ejercicio y protección de sus derechos. Teniendo en cuenta esto último, así como los conocimientos que el psicólogo posea respecto de los aspectos éticos vinculados a la investigación, consideramos que un análisis de este tipo constituye un aporte al campo de la investigación psicológica y sus problemáticas éticodeontológicas, en miras de mejorar la calidad de la práctica profesional de esta disciplina. Palabras clave Consentimiento informado, Investigación Psicológica, Niños ABSTRACT INFORMED CONSENT IN PSYCHOLOGICAL RESEARCH WITH CHILDREN: A CRITICAL ANALYSIS This work was developed within an ongoing research project on “Informed consent in psychological research with children: ethicalnormative considerations”, which main purpose is to make a literature review regarding the informed consent in psychological research with children. After analyzing how the informed consent is presented in national and international legal regulations and examine the specificities that it adopts in investigations with children; in this work, our main aim is to make a critical analysis of the treatment that the informed consent receives specifically in psychological investigations with children. The fact that the child may provide his consent in research that involves him is crucial for the exercise and protection of his rights. Taking this as a regarding point, as well as the knowledge that the psychologists may have about ethical discussions related to research, we think that this kind of analysis is an important contribution to the field of psychological research and its ethical-deontological discussions, in order to improve the quality of the professional practice of this discipline.
