Se presentan los resultados de la segunda fase de una investigación acreditada en la UNR, orientada a profundizar el conocimiento sobre la violencia en los escenarios virtuales, entre estudiantes de escuelas primarias y secundarias de la Provincia de Santa Fe. Refiere como violencia un conjunto amplio de acciones tales como hostigamiento, maltratos, filmación y difusión de videos violentos o que vulneran derechos de otras personas, mediante el uso de TIC. La investigación busca identificar percepciones, evaluaciones morales, y significados de los estudiantes sobre estos eventos. En esta segunda etapa se administró una encuesta digital a una muestra de 4384 estudiantes de escuelas públicas (78,1%) y privadas (21,9%); primarias y secundarias, en los cinco nodos de la provincia de Santa Fe. La edad promedio de los mismos es 13,9 años (DE=2,2 años), y el 51,2% fueron mujeres y el 48,8% varones. Los resultados permiten caracterizar a los estudiantes en cuanto al uso de redes sociales; identificar el grado de prevalencia del problema entre los mismos; y conocer sus ideas respecto al origen de estos episodios. RESEARCH ADVANCES These are the results of the second phase of an investigation, aimed to go into detail on cases of violence in virtual scenarios among primary, middle and high school students in Santa Fe. Violence is seen in many forms, such as harassment, mistreatment and filming and diffusion of violent or offensive videos against people rights, using ICT.The research seeks to identify students’ perceptions, moral evaluations, and meanings for these events. In the second stage, a digital survey was administered to a sample of 4384 students from public (78.1%) and private (21.9%) primary and secondary schools, distributed in the five nodes of the province of Santa Fe. The mean age was 13.9 years (SD = 2.2 years); 51.2% were females and 48.8 males. The results allow characterizing the students in the use of social networks; identifying the prevalence degree of the problem between them; and knowing their ideas regarding the origin of these episodes.
